University of South Carolina Moore School of Business Professional MBA Program Structure
The AACSB-accredited part-time Professional MBA at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business starts two times per year: once in January and once in August. It spans six consecutive seven-week terms, of which includes an immersion core courses that meet on three Saturdays during a 14-week period on campus. Students in the program complete 16 programs: nine core courses and seven electives. In a typical seven-week term, students meet on campus one night per week for classes from 6 to 9 p.m.
Curriculum
The bulk a student’s elective courses (seven of the 16 total courses required to complete the program) can be specialized in the following subjects: international business, finance, innovation/entrepreneurship, or marketing. Studying abroad experiences and certificate courses can also be considered electives towards the completion of the degree.

Admissions
Applicants to the University of South Carolina full-time MBA programs must have at least two years of prior work experience in order to apply, in addition to an accredited undergraduate degree, although it does not have to be in business. GMAT/GRE scores are typically required, but a waiver can be obtained for select candidates who already have a Master’s or Doctoral degree, or have at least seven years of professional or military experience.
