Henley Announces MBA Women in Leadership Scholarship Competition
For the fifth year in a row, the Henley Business School at the University of Reading is holding its MBA Women in Leadership Scholarship competition. The competition is open to participants worldwide and will be awarded once the winner’s place in the MBA program is confirmed. Cass Business School Hosts Champion of Diversity
Cass Business School of the City University of London recently hosted champion of diversity, Helena Morrissey, CEO of Newton, an investment management subsidiary of BNY Mellon, for its Dean’s Lecture Series in February 2016.
Morrissey’s lecture, entitled ‘New Approaches to Diversity’ focused on the nuances of fostering gender equality in the business world.
Saïd Business School Bestows Second MBA Scholarship for Women
María Belén Muñoz Toro, a Chilean student who will enter Oxford University’s Saïd Business School in January 2016, was awarded the second Oxford Executive MBA Scholarship for Women.
Oxford Saïd offers the scholarship in association with the 30% Club, an organization that works to promote gender diversity on corporate boards. Toro is a Product Supply Manufacturing Site Leader and Initiative Manager at Proctor and Gamble’s Prestige Fragrances.
The 30% Club, FT and Henley Business School Announce Women in Leadership MBA Scholarship 2015
Henley Business School, in association with the Financial Times, announces the launch of its prestigious MBA scholarship competition for The 30% Club Women in Leadership Scholarship.
The Scholarship aims for a greater visibility of women in leadership across all industry positions and reflects a mission to encourage and increase female gender balance.
The winner will receive a fully-funded place, worth up to £35,750, on one of a variety of Henley MBA programs. Starting in October 2015, this scholarship is designed to offer practical support for the development of strong female talent, as part of the 30% Club’s ‘Balancing the Pyramid Project’. London Business School Awards £30,000 Scholarships to Leading Female Execs
Two female business executives, Andreea Moldova, General Manager (Czech Republic and Slovakia) at Avon Cosmetics, and Yasmin Becker, Assistant Director at the Nursing and Midwifery Council, have been awarded £30,000 scholarships for London Business School’s Senior Executive Programme. This was the conclusion of an initiative, launched in August with the 30% Club, aimed at encouraging women in leadership positions with C-Suite potential. Current research indicates a much higher proportion of men participate in business school-led programmes; the 30% Club aims to address this imbalance.
