Smeal College of Business Announces New Master’s Program Akin to a Mini MBA
Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business has announced a unique new program for aspiring MBAs from non-business undergraduate majors.
The Master of Professional Studies in Management and Organizational Leadership (MMOL) is a 32-credit accelerated program providing the same instruction traditional business school students receive during the first year of the top-ranked Smeal MBA.
Stuart School of Business and Chicago Innovation Awards Create New Accelerated MBA
Illinois Institute of Technology’s Stuart School of Business and the Chicago Innovation Awards recently announced the creation of an all-new accelerated MBA program that focuses on the Chicago Metro’s growing tech and startup scene and gives students hands-on projects in the city’s innovation community. The program also gives MBA students who “demonstrates a continuing commitment to innovation in the Chicago region” a chance to earn a $10,000 scholarship from the Chicago Innovation Awards. Prospective MBAs interested in learning more about the UIC Liautaud’s Master’s degree programs are encouraged to attend an Information Session. These sessions happen all of the time, with the next information session falling on April 18, from 9am-10:30am at Douglas Hall, 705 S. Morgan St.
Information sessions begin with a short presentation followed by an open Q&A with current students and program personnel. Liautaud MBAs are strongly engaged with the city of Chicago, its public schools, the City Colleges of Chicago, Fortune 500 companies, and innovative small businesses while participating in activities that will help lead incoming students toward business success. Third MBA Group to Come to Anisfield
The Anisfield School of Business at Ramapo College of New Jersey will welcome the third student cohort of its new Accelerated MBA Program for Working Professionals this year. These students will earn their MBA degrees in just 20 months through an innovative curriculum, which stresses hands-on learning.
The program includes a trip to China to gain insight into the business opportunities available in today’s emerging markets, and gives students the chance to further sharpen their management and leadership skills through real-world consulting assignments with local area businesses.
