Merage Receives Positive Rankings from Recruiters
Ranking reports indicate solid support for UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business from recruiters. Ranking results are up significantly in both U.S. News & World Report and Bloomberg BusinessWeek. In the 2015 U.S. News recruiter assessments, the Merage School jumped 56 spots to rank no. 41. In the 2014 Bloomberg BusinessWeek employer survey, the school jumped 27 spots to rank no. 23 among employers.
In the most recent “Best Business School 2014” report from Bloomberg Businessweek, the Merage School of Business was ranked no. 31 among top MBA programs in the nation, up 12 spots from 2012. This has secured the Merage School’s place among the top six percent of AACSB accredited institutions in the U.S. The Financial Times “2014 Global MBA” rankings report placed the Merage School’s Full-Time MBA program at no. 25 in the nation, further supporting the school’s solid advancement.
Zarb Ranked by Bloomberg Businessweek
Bloomberg Businessweek has ranked the full time MBA program at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business among the best in the nation. This ranking is one of only three business schools in the New York City metropolitan area to make the list this year.
This is the first time Hofstra has been included in the 2014 Bloomberg Businessweek rankings. Hofstra has been ranked no. 79. The other New York City metro business schools that were ranked are Columbia University and New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Smith Moves Up In This Year’s Bloomberg Businessweek MBA Ranking
In Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2014 ranking of full-time MBA programs, The Robert H. Smith School of Business has climbed up from 24th to 17th MBA program in the country. Argyros Ranked 60th Best Undergraduate School
Chapman University’s Argyros School of Business and Economics has officially been nationally ranked as the 60th Best Undergraduate Bloomberg BusinessWeek Business School in 2014.
“Being ranked #60 nationally validates the great work being done by our faculty, staff and students,” said Reggie Gilyard, Dean, Argyros School of Business and Economics, Chapman University. “I believe that as we continue to take bold steps in terms of preparation and placement for our graduates, we will see further external validations of our work.”
Booth Surveys Aim to Craft the Perfect Class
As an effort to create the perfect MBA class of achieving, high-ceiling students, the Booth School of Business has begun to survey current students about their classmates’ popularity and potential in order to predict who will be the most successful (and wealthiest) alum post-graduation.
Stacey Kole is the deputy dean for Booth’s full-time MBA program. In an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek, she said the school will look for patterns in survey responses to show hidden indicators of eventual wealth, job success, and popularity. Continue reading…
