Foster Consulting and Business Development Center Celebrates 20 Years, 100,000 Jobs

The Consulting and Business Development Center at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business celebrated its 20th anniversary in December. The celebration drew more than 650 people and a record $90,000 was donated to build the center’s program endowments. Launched in 1995 with the mission of accelerating student careers and growing businesses in under-served communities, the Consulting and Business Development Center has helped to create more than 100,000 jobs since its inception. Schulich School Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary with a Year of Events

At the end of October, York University’s Schulich School of Business celebrated its 50th anniversary. For fifty years, Schulich has been a pioneer in new knowledge and has helped shape global management education. And for their half-century anniversary, the school’s new tagline is Business Education Transformed. Poets & Quants Names UCLA Student to “Best MBA” List

Meet Jacob Call, 34—an MBA student at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and former US Navy Seal. Call decided to go to business school after the death of his closest friends in combat. Now he has gone from being part of one of the military’s most elite units to the top of the Anderson MBA class.

George Mason Earns AACSB Accreditation Once Again

George Mason’s School of Business has once again maintained its business and accounting accreditations by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), according to a press release on the school’s website. AACSB Accreditation is highest form of accreditation for a school’s business program—Less than five percent of the world’s business programs have been recognized with this level of accreditation.  Continue reading…
