Students at University of St. Thomas’ Cameron School of Business can pay their tuition in a lot of different ways; with student loans, credit cards, tacos. Wait, tacos? Yeah. And beer too. Well, they can’t walk in to the bursar’s office and slap down tortillas and a six pack, but UST’s Alumni Association Scholarship Fund may have found the next best thing.
Cameron Academic Program Gives Students a Glimpse of Their Future
University of St. Thomas’ Cameron School of Business recently took a group of 14 MBA students to Amergy Bank for an opportunity to meet the founder, Walter Johnson, and speak with current employees. The trip was organized as part of Celts Exploring Business, an academic program at Cameron.

Cameron Students Learn From Executives at Celts Breakfast Club
Case studies and lectures are an important part of any MBA degree, but they don’t have to be all of it. Students at University of St. Thomas Cameron School of Business recently got an opportunity for a different kind of learning.
On February 11, at the Link Lee Mansion, students had the opportunity to meet and network with two business leaders for the Celts Breakfast Club. The executives in attendance were Beth Robertson and Daniel Breen. Robertson is the president of both Cockspur, Inc. and of Westview Development, Inc., and is currently on Amegy Bank’s Advisory Board. Breen is the president and CEO of Breen Investors LP.
