Kellstadt Graduate School of Business Releases Career Outlook Survey
According to results of DePaul University’s Class of 2014 career outlook survey and recruiting activity on campus, 86 percent of graduates who received their master’s degree from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business are either employed or enrolled in continuing education. Employment or enrollment in continuing education are considered successful career outcomes, according to National Association of Colleges and Employers, which charts college graduate employment statistics nationwide. Quinlan Hosts 40th Annual Macromarketing Conference
Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business hosted the 40th annual Macromarketing Conference in June — an event that brought together nearly 200 scholars from around the globe to analyze how marketing affects economies and societies.

DePaul Names Charles Wurtzebach Real Estate Chair
Charles Wurtzebach has been named as the new chair of the Department of Real Estate and as the Douglas and Cynthia Crocker Endowed Director of the Real Estate Center at DePaul University, according to a news release on the school’s website. Wurtzebach kicked off his three-year dual appointment in July, succeeding Susanne Cannon, the founder of the department and center, who retired earlier this year. Continue reading…

NIU Prof Christine Mooney Chimes in on Twitter’s Interim CEO and Leadership Succession
Christine Mooney, Northern Illinois University’s Associate Professor of Management, lent her insights on leadership transitions to Bloomberg Business in an article they ran on the appointment of Twitter Interim CEO Jack Dorsey.
“You’re basically on cruise control in your company,” said Mooney in the article. “Jack Dorsey may be able to get away with some more changes than other interims, but really he could start something and the permanent CEO could come in and say, ‘I want to do something else.'” Continue reading…
