D’Amore-McKim Online MBA Ranked No. 2 in United States
The Financial Times has ranked the online MBA program at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business no. 2 in the United States in its 2015 online MBA program rankings. The online program was also ranked no. 4 globally. Programs that are ranked must be AACSB accredited and have at least 70 percent of their program content delivered online.
The 2015 ranking is based on surveys of schools and of alumni who graduated in 2011. Alumni were asked to rate how well their degree was delivered online and the level of interaction with peers and academic staff. Fifteen schools from the United States and abroad were ranked in the 2015 report. The no. 1 school was IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. The no. 1 US program was Hough Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida.
D’Amore-McKim Holds PT MBA Information Session
The D’Amore-McKim School of Business will be hosting an information session for its part-time MBA program. The event will be held March 19 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Northeastern University Alumni Center. Attendants will have the opportunity to learn more about the program, meet faculty and members of the admissions team, get an over view of the admissions process and ask any questions you may have about any aspect of the program. Those interested in attending the information session event can complete a registration form online.
The part-time MBA program at D’Amore-McKim School of Business is a flexible scheduled program that allows students to complete their MBA degree in as little as two years or as long as seven years. Students have the choice of committing to courses just one night a week, or to accelerate their degree by taking multiple classes to accommodate their schedules. Students also have the option of completing classes online and on Saturdays.
Next Application Date for D’Amore-McKim March 15
The next application deadline for the Full-Time and Part-Time MBA programs at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business is March 15. This is also the final deadline for applicants that are seeking consideration for merit scholarships. Applications for all programs can be completed online. Those who complete the application for the Full-Time program by the March 15 deadline, will receive an admissions decision by May 1. Admissions decisions for the Part-Time program are given on a rolling basis.
The full-time MBA program is a two-year program for those who are seeking to further develop leadership skills and their knowledge of business in order to advance their career. MBA students complete one of four career tracks along with their MBA curriculum. The career track options include finance, healthcare management, marketing and operations and supply chain management. Students also complete a mandatory six-month paid corporate residency with one of the school’s corporate partners.
D’Amore-McKim Holds FT MBA Webinar
The D’Amore-McKim School of Business is holding a webinar for its full-time MBA program. The webinar will be held Jan. 15 from noon to 1 p.m. The event is free and open to all prospective MBA students. All that is required for the event is a computer with Internet access.
During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to hear from a current MBA student and faculty members on the classroom experience at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business. Dena Snyder, admissions counselor, Graduate Recruitment and Admissions will lead the webinar event.
Northeastern Launches New Data Science Programs
Northeastern University will launch a new suit of interdisciplinary data science programs. The programs will be aimed at training the next generation of data managers and analysts, a particularly pressing need in light of the field’s ongoing talent shortage.
The suite will be comprised of four distinct programs, including graduate certificates in data science and urban informatics as well as master’s degrees in urban informatics and business analytics. The program curriculum will harness the expertise of faculty members in three colleges: the College of Computer and Information Science, the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the D’Amore-McKim School of Business.
D’Amore-McKim Holds Part-Time MBA Webinar
The D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University will be holding an information webinar for its part-time MBA program. The part-time MBA webinar will be held Jan. 9, 2015. It will begin at noon and will last one hour.
