Lebow College Students Lead Italian Small Business Toward Expansion
Seventeen students from a consulting class at Drexel University’s Lebow College of Business had the privilege of traveling to Italy for the conclusion of a project that focused on helping a family-run olive oil business emerge into the international market.
The course presented students with the challenge of forming an expansion plan for the company, which encompassed all aspects of diversifying the business, including the management of distribution, shipping and manufacturing costs. The team was also tasked with advertising strategies using interactive websites and social media.
LeBow Hosts EMBA Information Session
The LeBow College of Business at Drexel University will be hosting an upcoming information session for its Executive MBA program. The event will be held March 18 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Prospective EMBA students can join the EMBA staff at LeBow for hors d’oeuvres and discussion about the program. Attendants will have the opportunity to learn more about the curriculum and the application process. Those interested in attending can complete a registration online. Free parking will be provided to registered attendants.
The Drexel Executive MBA is directed towards professionals with at least seven years of professional experience, although the average years of experience for students in the EMBA program is 15 years. The Drexel LeBow Executive MBA program curriculum and collaborative working environment are focused toward shaping the way students think and approach business as well as creating and expanding personal and business networks.
LeBow Holds MBA Information Session
The Drexel University LeBow College of Business will host an information session for its MBA programs Feb. 18. The information session will be held at Gerri C. LeBow Hall at the Drexel Campus. Registration for the event will begin at 5:30 p.m. The information session will being at 6 p.m.
During the event, there will be an introduction of all Admissions and Career Services Staff in attendance followed by detailed information about the LeBow College of Business, the different MBA program offerings at LeBow and the application process. At the end of the event, there will be a raffle for the Drexel sponsored GMAT prep course and a question and answer session with the Admissions Staff.
