St. Joe’s Announces Appointment of Interim Provost
St. Joseph’s University announced that Rosalind Reichard, Ph.D., will serve as interim provost beginning June 4, 2014. Reichard is the former president and professor of mathematics at Emory & Henry College where she served from 2006 to 2013. Prior to her time at Emory & Henry, she served as the vice president for academic affairs at Meredith College and as the dean of sciences and mathematics at Elon University, where she also held a faculty position for 16 years.
“During this one-to two-year interim period, it is important that we build a strong bridge to the future for Saint Joseph’s University,” says President C. Kevin Gillespie, “I believe Dr. Reichard’s keen understanding of higher education and her wealth of experience in administration will serve Saint Joseph’s well while she is with us.” Continue reading…
