UCLA’s Anderson School Hosts Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for U.S. Veterans
This month, more than eighty post-9/11 veterans with disabilities will gather on various campuses, including at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, to pursue entrepreneurship opportunities.
From July 9th through 17th, they will channel their military experience into the business world during the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV).
SJU Veterans Bootcamp Program Now Accepting Applications
The Haub School of Business is now accepting applications for the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans. St. Joseph’s was accepted into the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) in early 2015. EBV is an entrepreneurial and small business education program at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. The program is run by Syracuse’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families. The first class for the program at SJU will begin the program in spring 2016.
The program is open to any interested post-9/11 veteran with a disability and an honorable discharge status. Those interested in attending the program can visit www.sju.edu/veterans. The deadline for the 2016 program application is December 18, 2015.
UCLA Anderson Entrepreneurship Bootcamp Helps Kick Start Vets
On Saturday, July 11, 2015, a group disabled veterans will use their military abilities of resilience, focus, and leadership to learn the basics of business ownership at the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) at UCLA Anderson. The event, which is hosted in partnership between the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University (IVMF) and the Harold and Pauline Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at UCLA Anderson School of Management, helps post-9/11 veterans with service-connected disabilities develop skills and tools needed to launch, grow and lead successful businesses. Haub Accepted to Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities
The Haub School of Business has announced that it will be participating in the The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities. The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities is an entrepreneurial and small business education program that was founded in 2007 at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. The program is operated by SU’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families.
The Haub school joins several other schools that participate in the EBV program, including the SU’s Whitman School of Management, The Florida State University College of Business, the UCLA Anderson School of Management, Texas A&M University’s Mays School of Business, the Krannert School at Purdue University, University of Connecticut School of Business, the E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University and the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
