Fox Holds International Tourism and Biz Development Panel
The Fox School of Business will hold a panel discussion on International Tourism and Business Development. Fox will host the event in conjunction with the School of Hospitality Management at Temple University. The panel discussion will focus on the results of the world meeting of families on international business and tourism in the Philadelphia area, and beyond. The event will be held Oct. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The panel discussion will feature experts from international tourism and hospitality business development. Panelist include, Jack Ferguson, CEO and President of Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, Meryl Levitz, CEO and President of Visit Philadelphia, Brian Said, Executive Director, Tourism Division – Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, Zabeth Teelucksingh, Executive Director of Global Philadelphia Association and Bill Gehrman, Founder and Principal of En Route Marketing.
Fox Online MBA Featured in The Economist
The Fox School of Business at Temple University was recently profiled by the Economist as one of the top business schools for veterans. The Fox Online MBA was ranked the no. 1 for veterans by U.S. News earlier this year. The Economist explains that since the program’s beginning in 2009, at least ten students enrolled in the program were either active military personnel or completed the program after leaving military service.
The online MBA is an ideal program for veterans and those serving in active duty because the curriculum for this program is extremely flexible and offers students multiple entry points through out the year. Courses for the program are taught one at a time over the course of four weeks. The course material is completed at the student’s own pace over the course of the four weeks, which allows for maximum flexibility for those who may not necessarily be able to complete course work due to active duty responsibilities.
Fox Online MBA Ranked No. 1 For Military Veterans
The Online MBA at the Fox School of Business has been ranked no. 1 for military veterans by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings for the top online MBA programs for military veterans was released by U.S. News on May 19. The Fox online MBA was ranked no. 1 nationally for its benefits for student veterans. Temple University is also frequently ranked as a top military friendly university.
Fox started offering the online MBA in 2009. The curriculum for this program is extremely flexible and offers students multiple entry points through out the year. The program begins with a weeklong residency at Temple’s campus in Philadelphia. Courses for the program are taught one at a time over the course of four weeks. Students complete the courses at their own pace.
Fox EMBA Ranked No. 1 in Philly
The Executive MBA program at Temple University’s Fox School of Business has been ranked by no. 1 in the Philadelphia region by The Economist. The Economist also ranked the program no. 28 among U.S. colleges and universities and no. 45 globally. The “Which MBA” rankings were released on May 14. The Economist has ranked the Fox EMBA program has been ranked no. 1 in the Philadelphia area since 2013.
The Economist ranks programs on two broad measures for these rankings: personal development/educational experience and career development. In order to complete the rankings, schools with EMBA programs were allowed to classify their own programs as EMBA. Programs can be classified as an EMBA program as long as it is a part-time program and enrolled students with significantly more work experience than those who are completing their full-time MBAs.
Fox Holds EMBA Open Class Day
The Fox School of Business will be holding an Executive MBA Open Class Day. The event will be held March 27 at The Hub Commerce Square (20th and Market). Prospective students interested in attending the event should register by sending an email to reserve their spot to William.Rieth@temple.edu.
Attendants are asked to arrive between 10 and 10:15 a.m. to meet with Fox representatives. The live class will begin at 10:30 a.m. Following the class at noon, attendants can join current students and faculty for lunch.
Fox Hosts Online MBA Information Session
The Fox School of Business will be hosting a virtual information session for its online MBA program. This information session will be held March 9 at noon. The event can be accessed conveniently from home or work, all that is needed is an internet connection, speakers or headphones. During the information session, prospective students will learn more about the online MBA degree from Fox, the program’s structure, application requirements, admissions procedures, financing and many more. Those interested in attending can complete an online registration form. A confirmation email will be sent to you after registration is completed.
The Fox School of Business Online MBA program has been ranked no. 1 in the country by US News & World Report in the 2015 rankings of the world’s top online MBA programs. The Fox program received a perfect score of 100. This year’s ranking brings the school up eight positions, from no. 9 in the 2014 rankings report. The Fox School has been ranked among the top online programs since the ranking’s foundation in 2012.
