Fox Holds TUCC Tuesday Event
The next TUCC Tuesday Event from the Fox School of Business will be held Feb 24. There will be three events held on this day. During the events, students will have the opportunity to learn more about the programs offered at Fox, meet with a representative from the school and discuss any of the programs available for students.
The first event is a virtual information session. The session will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Interested participants must register to reserve a spot for a virtual meeting. Following the virtual information session, prospective students can also schedule a lunch time meeting with a school representative. The meetings will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. These appointments must be scheduled online.
Fox Holds Admission Events in Center City Philly
The Fox School of Business will be holding an admissions event in center city Philadelphia. The event, TUCC Tuesday, will be held Jan. 13. There will be two events held on this day. During the events, students will have the opportunity to meet with a representative from the Fox School and discuss any of the programs available for students.
The first event is a virtual meeting. The meetings will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interested participants must register to reserve a spot for a virtual meeting. The second is a live information session. The information session will be held at the TUCC campus on Market Street in Philadelphia. This live information session will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Those interested in attending the live information session must also register online to reserve a spot at the event.
Fox Holds Exec MBA Open Class Days
The Fox School of Business is holding two Executive MBA Open Class days. The first will be held Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 and the second on Saturday Dec. 6, 2014. The event will be held in the Center City Campus in Philadelphia.
This is an invitation-only opportunity to experience the Fox Executive MBA firsthand. Attendants will have the opportunity to sit in on a live class at The Hub Commerce Square, meet faculty, and network with current students on the day that works best for your schedule.
Fox Dept. of MIS Named Major National Player
The Fox School of Business’s Department of Management Information Systems at Temple University was named “a major national player.” The report was made by a review team that systematically evaluated the department.
The review team included internationally recognized professors from Oklahoma State University and The University of Texas at Austin. The reviewers were selected by Temple University’s Office of the Provost based upon their stature in the MIS discipline.
According to the team which submitted a report after evaluating a self-study document and following a two-day site visit: “The MIS department at Temple is one of the best examples of how good leadership and investment can create a stellar program in such a short time.”
Fox Holds Reception for New CC EMBA Center
Temple University’s Fox School of Business welcomed more than 100 guests to The HUB for a July 15 reception, celebrating the Executive MBA’s relocation and the Executive DBA program’s launch. Both programs will be housed at the innovative executive meeting facility, located at 20th and Market streets.
This marks the first time in years that the Fox School’s EMBA has been offered within the city limits, moving the program from the suburbs to Center City. Current and prospective students, faculty and alumni took in The HUB’s new facilities and modern amenities on ushered tours of its second-floor suites.
Fox Given Top-Five National Ranking
According to a study published last month by LifeHealthPro.com, the BBA program at Fox School of Business and its related coursework in Risk, Insurance and Healthcare Management was ranked among the top five in the nation. Fox’s Risk, Insurance and Healthcare Management program is the oldest, continuously running program in the country, dating to 1914. “To be ranked like this, it speaks to the quality of our faculty and students, to the rigor of our program and to the readiness of our students to enter the risk management and insurance field,” said the program’s chairman, R.B.
