In a recent press release, George Mason School of Business announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Thammasat University’s College of Innovation in Bangkok, Thailand. This very official sounding agreement “sets forth a framework for both institutions to collaborate on research initiatives in technology management, cyber security, and digital government,” and “promotes the exchange of information and faculty, as well as the development of educational programs.” Continue reading…

Several generations of the family has worked at the family’s business, Joe Ragan’s Coffee, which Joe Ragan III’s father started in 1966. In addition to the tradition of working at the family business, the Ragan family has also sent six family members to George Mason University. Five out of those six went on to earn business degrees. George Mason School of Business and College of Education Set to Launch Executive Chief Learning Officer Program
George Mason University’s School of Business and the College of Education and Human Development has announced its new Executive Chief Learning Officer program, making Mason one of a handful of colleges to offer a program dedicated to the quickly expanding role of the chief learning officer in the business world. Mason Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Receives $50,000 Grant
Dominion Resources, one of the nation’s largest producers of energy, has recently partnered with The George Mason University School of Business Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship through a $50,000 grant to support its initiatives, according to a press release on the university’s website.
“We are grateful for the commitment that Dominion has made to support our efforts here at the business school,” said School of Business Dean Sarah E. Nutter. “Their investment will go to support the funding, training, and mentorship for teams of students to explore ideas for innovative products and services in partnership with Mason faculty, business leaders, investors, and successful entrepreneurs.” Continue reading…
