Smith School Hosts New Emerging Markets Competition For MBAs
A team of MBAs from the Robert H. Smith School of Business won a $2,000 first place prize at the school’s inaugural Emerging Markets Forum Case Competition at Smith’s DC campus, according to an article by Andrew Kneale on the business school’s website.
Overall, teams from top MBA programs across the country competed to provide the best set of recommendations to the Global Alliance for the Improvement of Nutrition (GAIN).The event was a collaborative effort between Smith’s Center for International Business Education Research (CIBER), the MBA Emerging Markets Association and Smith’s MBA Net Impact chapter, expanding the activity of the university’s annual Emerging Markets Forum. Smith School Hosts Executive Roundtable On Business School Global Initiatives
The Robert H. Smith School of Business recently had the privilege of hosting the first in-person meeting of the Executive Roundtable on business school global initiatives. The discussion featured a group of heads of international education offices at top-tiered business schools. For two days in June, they shared the best practices in global business education, examined assessment tools typically used to measure global competencies, and envisioned the “next generation” of global programs.
