Foster School Has More MBAs Gaining Tech Employment Than Any Other B-School

The University of Washington’s Foster School of Business has become the leading B-school in tech employment. According to the 2016 employment reports, more MBAs at Foster took tech jobs than at any other school—outpacing even Silicon Valley schools such as Stanford GSB and the University of California, Berkeley. In fact, Foster sent more than half (52 percent) of its MBA graduates into the tech sector, that’s a 9 percent increase over last year and a 13.2 percent lead over the next closest school. The Challenge started with hundreds of applications from nonprofit innovators across Canada until the projects were narrowed down to 10 exceptional organizations. The Potential Impact of Brexit on U.K. Business Schools

British Prime Minister Theresa May plans to invoke Article 50 of the European Union Lisbon Treaty on March 29th—triggering the United Kingdom’s two-year process of exiting the bloc of nations it has been part of for four decades. Given this, it seems a good time to look at the impact of Brexit on U.K. schools. According to a 2017 GMAC Brexit-U.S. Survey, 45 percent of respondents claimed that Brexit would make them less likely to study in the United Kingdom. But what does that figure mean?
