Sellinger School Names Getz as Newest Dean
Loyola University Maryland is happy to name Kathleen A. Getz, Ph.D., as the next dean of the Sellinger School of Business and Management. She will assume her new role at Loyola this summer, starting on July 1, 2015.
“Dr. Getz has brought visionary and strategic leadership to her role at Loyola University Chicago, where she raised money for a new building and secured a naming gift for the school. She also refocused the strategic plan for the Quinlan School of Business to promote leadership areas in family business, international business and emerging markets, risk management, social enterprise and responsibility, and supply chain management,” said Amy R. Sellinger Professor Harsha Desai Named ‘Social Innovator’
Harsha Desai, professor at the Sellinger School of Business and Management, was named one of 12 social innovators by the Warnock Foundation for founding and leading the Center for Sustainable Social Impact. The Warnock Foundation, established to help nonprofit organizations grow, awarded Desai a $1,000 grant for his work. Continue reading…
