Lubin Holds Accelerated Military Admissions Event
The Lubin School of Business will be holding a special admissions event for military personnel. The “Military Monday” event will be an accelerated admissions event for any veteran, reservist, and active duty military that plan to apply to the Business School. The event will held on Monday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Prospective students who apply during this event will have the $70 graduate application fee waived.
One Day Immersion Conference at Lubin Offers Media Scholarships
The Lubin School of Business has announced that the One Day Immersion in Tv, Cable and Digital Entertainment will offer media scholarships to students who participate in the conference. The Lubin School of Business is among 120 colleges and universities across the United States that participate in the conference. The conference, produced by Dolly Wolf Enterprises, LLC, was created to give the next generation of industry leaders the opportunity to learn from industry executives and develop strategic relationships for the future.
The conference is held in both New York City and in Denver. This year’s conference will feature student ambassadors from the Lubin School. The 2015 conference in New York City will be held on Oct. 23, at The Michael Schimmel Center for the The Arts at Pace University. The event is free for all who want to attend. Those who cannot be at the conference in person are also welcome to join the conference online during a live streaming of the events.
Pace Partners with ACCA USA
Pace University has announced that it has partnered with ACCA USA (the US arm of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). This partnership links ACCA’s qualification program to both graduate and undergraduate coursework at the Lubin School of Business. Over the past two years, Pace and ACCA USA have already established joint initiatives through shared research and two successful cybersecurity conferences.
Starting in the fall, students at the Lubin School of Business’s Department of Accounting will have the opportunity to complete coursework that will qualify them for specific exemptions from ACCA’s 14 exams. These exemptions will initially include four for graduate courses and five for undergraduate courses.
Lubin Hosts EMBA Open House
The Lubin School of Business at Pace University will be hosting two upcoming Executive MBA Open House events. The Open Houses will be held March 21 and March 22 at the Downtown Conference Center at Pace University.
During the open house, attendants will be able to participate in classroom activities and team project meetings, meet all of the Executive MBA faculty and staff, talk to current students about their experiences in the Executive MBA program and learn about the application process, options for financing the Executive MBA degree, how to balance the time demands of a job with the program, home and family.
Lubin Holds EMBA Open House
The Lublin School of Business will be hosting an open house event for its Executive MBA program. The open house will be held March 21 and 22 atlubin Holds EMBA Open House the Pace University Downtown Conference Center. During the Open House, prospective students will have the copportunity to sit in on a real class and interact with current students and faculty during an actual Residency as well as meet EMBA faculty and staff and learn more about the EMBA program and a apicatin process at Lubin. Prospective students will also learn more about financing options for the program and tips on balancing work and family responsibilities with school requirements.

Pace Holds Online Chat for International Students
The Office of Graduate Admissions at Pace University will be hosting an online chat for international students. The online chat will be held Feb. 5. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and last for one hour. During the chat, prospective students can learn more about the graduate programs offered at Pace as well as the admission process for international students. Those attending the chat will have the opportunity to have questions answered by admission staff as well as requirements for programs, the I-20 process and more.
Applicants to Pace University graduate programs must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university if postsecondary education was completed in the United States. Applicants who have attended institutions outside of the U.S. must hold a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree.
