Stanford to Offer LGBT Executive Program to Business Leaders
Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business (GSB) has announced that it will offer a LGBT Executive Program.
Beginning in late July 2016, the week long program is described as the first of its kind. The program will appeal to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered leaders who are seeking to rise to the C-Suite level in their careers.
Imperial College of Business Students Reveal Shopping Habits of Millennials
Students at the Imperial College of Business at the Imperial College of London published a report last month that revealed the shopping habits of 18 to 34 year olds.
The students were from the MSc in Strategic Marketing program, and the report was part on a consulting project for eBay Enterprise.

Seattle Ranked as 10th Best City for Small Business
A recent study from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation titled Main Street Entrepreneurship, looked at the activity of small businesses in the United States. It found that it was on the rise in 2015 and that Seattle ranked 10th on the small-business index, which calculates the percentage of adults who own a small business in a region in a year, as well as the density of these enterprises that are at least five years old. DeGroote School Places 5th in International Case Competition
This past week, the 35th annual John Molson MBA International Case Competition (MBAICC) took place. It’s the largest and oldest case competition of its kind in the world. 36 teams of MBA students from across the globe competed, and McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business placed 5th overall.
