Financial Time Ranks Smith School In Latest List

Twitter to Join Other Major Tech Brands in Ponce City Market
It’s a huge boon to MBA students when major companies open offices near campus. For schools in the Atlanta metro area this is one of their biggest strengths. Atlanta is already home to a litany of major corporations and more even more start-ups. What more could you ask for? How about Twitter increasing their presence in the area by almost 500 percent?
According to a recent article by Urvash Karkaria in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Twitter will lease around 8,000 square feet in the new Ponce City Market. With this move Twitter is expected to grow it’s sales and marketing team to about 70 people from their current 15. Continue reading…
Scheller Announces New Supply Chain Program
Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business announced in a recent press release that it will be launching a consortium-based Supply Chain Leader Development program in early spring. The new program is focused on helping corporate clients manage and develop their supply chains. The program’s academic director is Operations Management Professor Soumen Ghosh, who is faculty director of non-degree and custom programs for Scheller’s Huang Executive Education Center.
The Huang Executive Education Center, where the program will be held, has hosted similar programs for individual companies in the past. Ghosh told Scheller’s news blog that this was one of the reasons for developing the program. “As other companies have discovered what we offer, they’ve wanted to have similar opportunities, so we developed this new program,” Ghosh said. LMU Holds MBA & EMBA Information Session
Loyola Marymount University College of Business Administration will be hosting an information session for its MBA and Executive MBA programs. The event will be held Jan. 28 at the Los Angeles Athletic Club in downtown LA. The information session will begin at 7 p.m. Free parking is available for attendants.
During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about both of the MBA programs offered at LMU. Attendants will also be able to meet faculty, staff and alumni of both the MBA and Executive MBA programs. The College of Business Administration is AACSB accredited and offers students small class sizes and global education options.
New Year Means New Degrees at Kellstadt Graduate School of Business
