Bitcoin, the internet’s first decentralized digital currency and the largest of its kind in terms of total market value, was recently examined at the McDonough School of Business. While Bitcoin is still shrouded in mystery for some, the new currency has made its way into business schools as certain prominent professors’ are beginning to open up on their thoughts on the currency.

Daniel Kuenzi, an evening MBA student at Georgetown McDonough, recently won the pitch competition at Georgetown’s Evening of Social Innovation. One of 12 groups of Georgetown students who presented socially conscious business ideas at the event sponsored by the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative, Kuenzi envisions a world where produce is fresh, affordable and accessible. Morgan Stanley CEO Talks Shop With McDonough Students
It’s not every day that you get to have the CEO of a huge corporation give you business advice, but nearly 200 Georgetown McDonough students were granted that opportunity when James Gorman, Chairman and CEO of Morgan Stanley, addressed them on February 5.
For a company like Morgan Stanley that receives more than 100,000 resumes a year, standing out can come down to finding the area of the company that that is the best fit, but interestingly enough many students present had already accepted full-time positions and internships at the company.
