New Dean Appointed at Kogod School of Business

According to a press release on the American University website, John T. Delaney has been appointed as the new dean of the Kogod School of Business effective July 18th. In a stunning improvement over last year’s list, UIC Liautaud’s Part-Time MBA program was ranked #78 by U.S. News & World Report’s 2017 Graduate School Rankings. According to a press release on the UIC website, this was an impressive jump of more than 30 spots from the 2016 rankings.

Carey MBAs Finish 5th at MIT Sloan Operations Simulation Competition

According to a news release on the Carey Business School website, a team that included three Carey Global MBAs earned fifth place in MIT Sloan’s 12th Annual Operations Simulation Competition. Carey students Prateek Agarwal, Alex Starr, and Sean Chou were on the “alexstarr” team that finished the online simulation with a cash balance of $2,233,510. Continue reading…
