Sellinger Students Visit Chile on Study Tour Abroad

For the past 13 years, Loyola Maryland Sellinger School of Business has sent groups of students to the South American country of Chile. This annual study tour is a nine day long excursion where students visit a winery, a local hospital and a hyperbaric chamber in order to understand how businesses operate in South America, as well as enjoy the beautiful scenery and food. Ever since I was a little kid, my mother always encouraged me to get more involved at school (or after-school really) by joining in student clubs and extracurricular activities. Whether it was because I was more interested in playing video games at the time, or if it was the fact that Quilting Club didn’t seem like very much fun, I never really did participate in these types of activities.
