Kogod Ranked #58 In New Bloomberg Rankings
In Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2015 ranking of full-time MBA programs, American University’s Kogod School of Business came in ranked as the #58 full-time MBA program in the country.
In past years, the rankings were compiled by considering a number of categories that measure strength of education as well as which programs best prepare MBA candidates for their future careers. Business Athlete Panel Set to Speak During Smith School Business Summit
According to a press release on the school website, The Robert H. Smith School of Business’s Center for Leadership, Innovation, and Change is sponsoring a panel on the “Business Athletes” leadership model at the Smith School Business Summit on Nov. 13. Students and alumni are invited to RSVP for the event.
The all-women panel will feature Smith Senior Associate Dean Joyce Russell and an assortment of business leaders explaining how great athletes are sometime analogous with great business leaders. Continue reading…
New Restaurant Tip Calculator App Launched by Carey Business School MBA Candidate
Full Society is the future of the restaurant going experience. The app — which is headed by Carey Business School MBA candidate Paige Cantlin — allows diners to instantly pay, split and tip directly from their web capable mobile phones. And the cherry on top? At the end of payment, users are encouraged to donate to a local nonprofit that works to solve hunger.
According to an article on The Hub, Cantlin recently launched a beta version of the app to select restaurants in Baltimore with more to follow. One restaurant, Woodberry Kitchen, is also stakeholder in the company. Continue reading…
