Lerner College to Host Social Media Expert at Gore Lecture Series

The Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics (Lerner College) will host a top social media expert to discuss the cultural effects of social media at the upcoming W.L. Gore Lecture Series in Management Science on April 28, 2016.

The speaker, Sinan Aral, is The David Austin Professor of Management at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He was recently named as one of Poets and Quants’ Best 40 Under 40 business school professors.

MIT Sloan Students Heat Up Havana As US and Cuban Relations Cool

MIT Sloan Announces New Master of Business Analytics Degree

In a recent press release, MIT Sloan in collaboration with the MIT Operations Research Center unveiled its new Master of Business Analytics (M.B.An.) degree—a graduate program to compliment its undergraduate and doctoral offerings—slated to begin as part of the fall 2016 semester. The M.B.An. is intended to prepare students to apply “the tools of modern data science to solve problems in business and society.”
