Smeal Professor Publishes Book
Penn State Smeal College of Business’ clinical professor of international business Terrence R. Guay, has just released a new textbook, The Business Environment of Europe published by Cambridge University Press.
The textbook provides a comprehensive overview of the business landscape in Europe by examining the region’s economies and policies, the structure and dynamics of specific industries, the impacts of globalization and future challenges.
“A lot of Americans don’t really understand the intricacies of the European business environment,” said Guay. “To lump all European countries together is a misunderstanding of Europe. Some countries do have serious economic problems, but others are among the most competitive and successful nations in the world.”
