Saïd Business School Receives Pershing Square Funding for Sustainable Innovation
On February 11, 2016, The Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford (Oxford Saïd) proudly announced a gift of £3.7 million in funding by the Pershing Square Foundation (the Foundation).
The gift will allow for five scholarships that will cover living expenses and tuition for students enrolled in Oxford Saïd’s 1+1 MBA Program.
Saïd Business School Bestows Second MBA Scholarship for Women
María Belén Muñoz Toro, a Chilean student who will enter Oxford University’s Saïd Business School in January 2016, was awarded the second Oxford Executive MBA Scholarship for Women.
Oxford Saïd offers the scholarship in association with the 30% Club, an organization that works to promote gender diversity on corporate boards. Toro is a Product Supply Manufacturing Site Leader and Initiative Manager at Proctor and Gamble’s Prestige Fragrances.
London Business School, Saïd Excel in Latest Rankings
London Business School and Saïd Business School – University of Oxford fare best among London metro schools in two of the latest rankings for full-time and executive MBA programs.
Bloomberg Business places London Business School at No. 2 on its list of the top 29 international full-time MBA programs. Also in the top 10: Saïd (No. 6) and Judge Business School – University of Cambridge (No. 8). Continue reading…
Saïd and Global Shapers Award Two Scholarships
Two members of the Global Shapers Community have been selected to receive scholarships to attend Saïd Business School in order to pursue MBA degrees, according to a press release from the school. The Global Shapers Community, a World Economic Forum initiative, consists of a network of hubs developed and led by young people who are exceptional in their achievements, potential and their drive to make a contribution to their community. Oxford Saïd MBA Student Shines

Oxford MBA Alumnus Nears Possible Endorsement from Robert Branson
An Africa-inspired health/beauty brand and social business called Aduna (which was co-founded by Saïd Business School alumnus Andrew Hunt) has entered Virgin’s ‘Pitch to Rich’ competition for a chance to win a £250k marketing campaign.
Aduna’s mission is to create demand for under-utilised natural products from small-scale producers in Africa, starting with the superfruit ‘baobab’. The business, which is scaling both domestically and internationally, is a runner-up for three Guardian Sustainable Business Awards.
