New 3M Sales Lab Opens at SDSU College of Business
The San Diego State University ISDSU) College of Business opened a new 3M Sales Lab last month designed to help business students work on presentations. The lab, located in the Page Pavilion of Student Services East, includes everything students need to improve their use of technology, verbal and nonverbal communication skills. San Diego State Focuses on Philanthropy
San Diego State University is known for its generosity and has worked to develop a culture of student philanthropy. In fact, it’s at the heart of SDSU’s philosophy, and Aztec Proud—a donation program—is a major initiative of the Office of Alumni Engagement. This past Giving Tuesday, Alumni staff and student volunteers spent the day at the SDSU Bookstore offering refreshments to previous student donors and gifts to new donors to encourage donations to the SDSU scholarship fund. San Diego Ranked as Top 10 City for Job Growth in 2015
San Diego, California was ranked as one of the top 10 cities for job growth in 2015, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The ten cities on the list have experienced the strongest non-agricultural job growth over the first three quarters of 2015. Overall, projections from the study show that the U.S. could add as many as three million jobs this year—a 2.2% monthly average job growth. San Diego tied for eighth place with Denver and Portland with a 3.1% job growth for 2015. San Diego’s growth beat out overall California growth, which was up just 3.0% for the year. Continue reading…
San Diego State Breaks Ground on New Innovative Research Complex
San Diego State University (SDSU) broke ground on their new Engineering and Interdisciplinary Sciences Complex. The new building will focus on creating collaborative opportunities for engineers, biologists, climatologists, and entrepreneurs. SanFran State Alumnus Appointed Assist. Dean of Business Admin at San Diego State
San Francisco State University College of Business Alumnus Tita Gray has been appointed as the assistant dean of the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University.
Gray is a former executive in Diversity and Inclusion with the Pacific Gas & Electric Company in San Francisco. She has served as an adjunct professor at San Diego State University in the College of Business Administration, since 2012, where she teaches Organizational Behavior and Leadership.
