Rady Appoints Rossen Valkanov as Inaugural Zable Endowed Chair in Management
Rossen Valkanov, a professor of finance at the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego, was appointed the inaugural recipient of the Zable Endowed Chair in Management Leadership. Established by Cubic Corporation founder Walter Zable and his wife, Betty, the Zable Endowed Chair supports faculty recruitment, teaching, and research activities. San Diego Ranked as Top 10 City for Job Growth in 2015
San Diego, California was ranked as one of the top 10 cities for job growth in 2015, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The ten cities on the list have experienced the strongest non-agricultural job growth over the first three quarters of 2015. Overall, projections from the study show that the U.S. could add as many as three million jobs this year—a 2.2% monthly average job growth. San Diego tied for eighth place with Denver and Portland with a 3.1% job growth for 2015. San Diego’s growth beat out overall California growth, which was up just 3.0% for the year. Continue reading…

Rady School Full-Time MBA Ranked 1st in San Diego by Bloomberg Businessweek
Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the full-time MBA program at UC San Diego’s Rady School of Management 1st in San Diego.
