Robin Chase, MIT Sloan Graduate School of Management MBA (1986) and co-founder of Zipcar, is a visionary in the brave new world of the sharing economy and peer-to-peer technology.

It’s easy to take for granted the omnipresence of the sharing economy in our everyday lives. For some millennials, it’s hard to recall that there was ever a time before they could walk outside, wave a gadget to a car windshield, and go on an unexpected road trip.

Stanford University MBA Applies Peer-to-Peer Model to Small Business Lending

A Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) MBA saw a great opportunity to apply the efficiency of the sharing economy to an area into which it hadn’t yet emerged—small business lending—through Funding Circle.

Sam Hodges, along with a group of Oxford University grads, teamed up to form the company in 2010.

Saïd Enters Partnership to Develop ‘Trustmark’

Sharing Economy UK (SEUK) has recently entered a partnership with the Skoll Center for Social Entrepreneurship at Saïd Business School to create a comprehensive “trustmark” for the sharing economy, according to a press release from the school.
