Wharton MBA Alum Turns the Theories of Social Impact into Action

One MBA alumna from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business has shown the true value of social impact efforts through her recent consulting work in the Philippines.

Barbara Custodio, who earned her Wharton MBA in 1989, has a long list of accomplishments over the course of her career. They include stints in Hong Kong with Chase Manhattan, Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch; positions in Washington D.C. with Amtrak and the International Finance Corporation; and a position as a consultant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines.

Pepperdine MBA’s Winning Baby Product Earns High Honor

A Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Management (Graziadio School) MBA alumnus recently won the “Best Product of the Year” award for a project that he developed while pursuing his degree.

Paul Martello, who graduated from Graziadio in 2013, brought the ‘Yummy Spoon’ into fruition while a student in the Entrepreneurship program. He received the award at the ECRM Baby & Infant trade show, the largest of its kind in the country. Continue reading…

USC Marshall MBAs Found Startup Aimed at Sharing Surgical Advancements

Brian Conyer, MBA student at USC’s Marshall School of Business had a ‘Eureka!’ moment during a busy time in his life.  He was pursuing his studies part-time at the school and juggling a successful career in healthcare sales.

Cass Business School MBA Raises Funds for Pestalozzi International Village Trust (PIVT)

An MBA candidate at City University London’s Cass Business School has embarked upon a fundraising campaign for the Pestalozzi International Village Trust (PIVT).

Victoria Shin (MBA, 2017) and a team of classmates will trek the mountains of Patagonia in August 2016 with the goal of supporting the worthy efforts of the PIVT.
