Stanford to Host Future MBAs During Summer Program
Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business will hold its inaugural Future Leaders Program on August 11-14, 2016. The event will introduce college juniors and seniors from diverse backgrounds to MBA education, and also to post-MBA career options.
Students who attend the three-day event will receive the opportunity to stay on campus and to experience the rich culture of the surrounding area.
General Motors CEO Mary Barra to deliver at Stanford Commencement
Stanford Graduate School of Business (Stanford GSB) alumnus and General Motors CEO Mary Barra will deliver the school’s commencement address this June.
Barra (MBA ’90) has served as CEO of the company since January 2015, and she was recently named to GM’s Board of Directors. She also is a member of Stanford University’s Board of Trustees and the Stanford Graduate School of Business Advisory Council. Fortune magazine ranked Mary Barra first on its “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” list.
Stanford to Offer LGBT Executive Program to Business Leaders
Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business (GSB) has announced that it will offer a LGBT Executive Program.
Beginning in late July 2016, the week long program is described as the first of its kind. The program will appeal to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered leaders who are seeking to rise to the C-Suite level in their careers.
Stanford Graduate School of Business to Host Top Airline CEO
Stanford University Graduate School of Business (GSB) recently announced that it will host a student-led conversation this month with Doug Parker, chairman and CEO of the American Airlines Group.
The event will take place Thursday, January 21st, on the Stanford GSB campus.
