Stanford Holds MBA Information Session

The next information session for the MBA program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business will be held March 16 at 10:45 a.m. at the Knight Management Center. The information session will last for 90 minutes. During the event, prospective students will have the chance to learn more about the Stanford MBA, the admissions process and meet Admissions Office representatives to ask any questions about any aspects of the program. Those interested in attending the information session event can complete an online registration form.

The MBA program at Stanford is a two-year, full-time general management program. Students in the program learn to develop their analytical and creative thinking skills as well as build leadership skills in an innovative environment. The program allows students to focus their educational efforts in areas such as environment, international development, healthcare and education by participating in the Public Management and Social Innovation certificate program in addition to completing the MBA program.

Stanford Holds MBA Info Session

Stanford University Graduate School of Business will hold an information session for its MBA program. The event will be held Dec. 19, 2014. It will be held on the Stanford campus from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

During the 90-minute program, an MBA Admissions Office representative will provide a detailed overview of the MBA Program’s distinctive features and the Stanford Graduate School of Business admission process. Apps for Stanfords New Online Exec Program Now Open

Applications for Stanford Graduate School of Business’s new, online model for executive learning are now open. The new model recreates the intimate and academically rigorous on-campus Stanford experience in an interactive online environment. Participants will engage with a select cohort of peers, collaborate on projects, interact directly with coaches and faculty and gain insights from successful global leaders.

The new model will launch with the Stanford LEAD Certificate: Corporate Innovation, which aspires to help participants learn, engage, accelerate and disrupt. It is aimed at professionals who wish to drive new initiatives and effectively implement change within their organizations. The eight-course program will help participants develop their abilities to identify the ideas that deliver the most impact and to overcome organizational barriers.

Stanford Students Join Siebel Scholars

Five Stanford University Graduate School of Business second-year MBA students have joined the elite Siebel Scholars group. The students were chosen by a faculty committee based on academic achievement and demonstrated leadership within the business school community during their first year. Students inducted in to the group are also given a tuition grant.

The group recognizes the brightest students at the world’s leading graduate schools of business, computer science, and bioengineering, who are at the forefront of the collaborative search for solutions to the world’s most critical issues. Students inducted into the Siebel Scholars group are usually ranked in the top 5 percent of their class, many within the top 1 percent.

Stanford University has been ranked no. one on Forbes’s 2014 most entrepreneurial universities list for the second time. Forbes ranked the nation’s most entrepreneurial research universities based on their entrepreneurial ratios, the number of alumni and students who have identified themselves founders and business owners on LinkedIn against the school’s combined graduate and undergraduate student body.
