Seattle University Students Raise $110,000 for Miracle Children
Seattle University became an exclusive dance club for 16 hours February 20 and 21. The reason, to raise money for Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Uncompensated Care Fund and Strong Against Cancer Initiatives. With a $100-minimum cover charge, and pumping music, students danced their way to over $110,000 in donations for miracle children.
USD Supply Chain Management Ranked 9th Nationally
The U.S. News & World Report recently released its 2016 Best Online Graduate Business Programs rankings. Rady School Now Accepting Applications for New MSBA Program
The Rady School of Management at UC San Diego introduced a new Master of Science in Business Analytics program, now enrolling for Fall 2016. The MSBA degree program will offer hands-on training to prepare students to use data and analytics to identify business opportunities, generate business insights, and create business solutions. Ted Rogers Student Wins Top Honors in Options Trading
After an eight-week Montreal Exchange Options Tradition Simulation national student competition, Bryon Chen, a Law and Business student at the Ted Rogers School of Business Management at Ryerson University, took home top honors and a $10,000 prize. The competition took place from September to December 2015 and tasked teams made up of full-time students, from undergraduate and MBA programs across Canada, with using a simulated online platform to trade options. The goal was to achieve the highest possible returns. Each team was provided with a virtual cash account of $100,000 to build their portfolio and were required to follow certain rules according to a Ryerson news story. Continue reading…
Tips for Tackling the “Why Do You Want an MBA?” Application Essay Question
You’ve put the time in studying for the GMAT, you’ve narrowed your list of schools, you’ve identified your recommenders and asked them to write letters on your behalf. There’s no more putting it off.
