Suffolk Holds EMBA Information Session

Sawyer EMBA Information Session

Suffolk University – Sawyer Business School will be hosting an EMBA Information Session. The event will be held Feb. 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to discuss the Executive MBA program details, admissions process and have any questions answered by EMBA program representatives. A complimentary breakfast will be provided to students who attend the event.

The EMBA program at Sawyer is designed for mid-level executives looking to enhance their managerial skills. The Executive MBA Program teaches courses in clusters that mirror how business works across functional areas. Students move through the curriculum as part of a cohort of 20-25 students, attending four clusters of courses and four residential seminars.

Suffolk Holds EMBA Information Session

Suffolk University – Sawyer Business School is holding an information session for its Executive MBA program. The event will be held Jan. 17, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The information session will be held at the Suffolk University Boston campus. The event is open to all interested prospective students.

During the event, prospective students can ask admissions officers questions about the program, admissions events, admission requirement, tuition and funding and other program offerings. Those who attend the event will also have the option to attend a class. Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided to those who are in attendance.

Suffolk Ranked Best for MBA by Princeton Review

The Princeton Review has ranked Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School as one of the best institutions in the nation for an MBA degree. The review specifically cited the school’s “solid preparation in general management and teamwork” with a focus on “preparing students for the real world.”

Suffolk’s Sawyer Business School joins the exclusive group of institutions profiled in The Princeton Review’s 2015 edition of its guide The Best 296 Business Schools. Inclusion in the list is determined by an analysis of key criteria including Best Campus Environment, Best Professors and Best Career Prospects.

Sawyer Part-Time Student Receives Promotion

Nicole Latulippe is a part-time MBA student at Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School. Latulippe also works full-time at Cynosure, Inc. With a concentration in strategic management, she was able to showcase the skills she learned at Suffolk to impress her bosses and advance her career as associate product manager.

“The real-world experiences that I’ve been able to bring to these classes and discuss with my classmates have helped me come to great solutions for my real work issues. It’s also shown my dedication to my career. To be able to juggle both at one time has helped my skills shine through in my work. I also have a lot more confidence in certain situations than I have had in the past which definitely helped in pushing me through to the next level in my company,” said Latulippe.

Sawyer Offers Accelerated Leadership Course

Sawyer EMBA Information Session

The Center for Executive Education at the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University is offering a two-day accelerated leadership course. This two-day certificate program, will teach participants how to lead across organizations. Attendants will also practice new leadership styles that can be tailored and applied to your workplace. The program will be held November 4, 2014 through November 5, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The cost of the program for alumni and advanced registration for non-alumni attendants is $599. Advanced registration will be available until September 1, 2014. The cost of the program for non-alumni attendants after September 1, 2014 will be $799. Registration sales will end on November 4, 2014.

Sawyer Alumnus Named CFO of Aldeyra Therapeutics, Inc.

Aldeyra Therapeutics, Inc., a biotechnology company focused on the development of products to treat diseases related to free aldehydes, announced that Sawyer Alumnus Stephen Tulipano, has joined Aldeyra as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Tulipano will report directly to Todd C. Brady, M.D., Ph.D., President and CEO of Aldeyra.

“We are excited to have Steve join Aldeyra, as he brings to the Company a strong financial background and significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry,” said Dr. Brady. “Given his proven track record of managing a company’s finances during clinical trials, Steve will be a tremendous asset as we advance the clinical development of our lead product candidate, NS2, for the treatment of Sjogren-Larsson Syndrome and acute anterior uveitis.
