Sawyer to Offer Executive Education Seminar For Dentists
Suffolk University and the Sawyer Business School will offer an executive education seminar for dentists on June 20 and again on June 21. The program is open to alumni, the general public, graduate students and guests of alumni and graduate students.
Jay Hooley Speaks to Sawyer Business School Graduates
Speaking in front of more than 900 Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Business graduates, State Street Corporation Chairman, President and CEO Joseph L. “Jay” Hooley touched on the opportunities and challenges presented by the Digital Revolution.
As the commencement speaker for Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School commencement exercises on May 18 at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion on the Boston waterfront, Hooley told graduates that “managing the steady torrent of information racing at you from all directions will be essential to your success – and sanity.” Sawyer Business School graduates are ready to fill the need for “business and technology-savvy workers with strong analytical skills and real-world experience,” who can communicate effectively and present bold ideas, he said. Suffolk University Sawyer Business School’s Richard Taylor Honored
Richard Taylor, executive in residence and director of the Center for Real Estate at the Sawyer Business School of Suffolk University, was recently honored with the Distinguished Public Service Award given by the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus at the 13th Annual Good Guys luncheon.
Since 2002, the Good Guys awards have been honoring men who are helping women achieve equality.
Taylor has always mentored and encouraged women to achieve high-ranking positions in the business community. As the former secretary of transportation and construction for Massachusetts, he appointed several women to leadership roles in his administration. Continue reading…
