Nowadays media, news and information is now delivered in every imaginable way across a plethora of internet platforms. Another example of new media on the rise is the podcast — essentially the internet age’s take on terrestrial radio.

New Dean Appointed at Kogod School of Business

According to a press release on the American University website, John T. Delaney has been appointed as the new dean of the Kogod School of Business effective July 18th. Smith School Takes First Prize at Emerging Markets Case Competition

The Smith School of Business hosted the Second Annual Emerging Markets Case Competition earlier this month. According to the Smith School, eight teams from seven MBA programs around the country participated in an intense 24-hour preparation and presentation. Each team was tasked with providing recommendations to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on a specific case involving the economic sustainability strategy of a mining company in Ghana.
